I thought of this the other day and though I would share I have searched the internet for similar and couldn’t find anything but someone has had to say this before me. But regardless this is my spin, enjoy!

Here is a little pic I made for the heck of it.
I ran across this application a little while back and it is quite fun and has great stylized graphics. Though this application is not going to make you a musical superstar it provides a fun little music toy. It currently has 4 background tracks to spice up your tune and 4 harp sound types to choose from. As well as 6  play along  songs were you follow the monster sting to string to play music, I would like to see more of these. But this game is definitely is a hidden gem and a fun diversion.
It appears this is now on android and IOS devices.
Browsing Nintendo s site I came across this crazy commercial for a downloadable game. It takes me back to the over the top commercials of old enjoy it here.
I ran across this crazy paper toy video on Youtube I definitely need to make one of these.
Bouncing between the Amazon Store and the official Android Marketplace I occasionally come up with a gem or at least and decent diversion and that is what I have found in the game Avenger. When I first saw the game it was pretty obvious what I was getting into was a Castlevania Clone and I mean that as no insult. I think this should be an Eye opener to Konami that this can done.
The 1st level did feel a little too easy but doesn’t take long to get a little more in depth but it does liven up pretty quickly. The graphics are nice and again are very retro Castlevania like with a good variety of bosses and enemies. The game to me feels like a marriage of Castlevania and Devil May Cry. The game has a decent story but it contains a fair amount of Engrish.
Currently I have only spent about an hour with this game but for free that is really quite good. The game does have some in app purchases but have not felt forced to do so as of yet. Note there are 2 versions of this out there Avenger and Castle of Shadows. I recommend Avenger because it does not require a log on to play.
I find apples patent for the facial recognition silly I hope they don’t get this as this is not an invention they can claim to have made. Its already in use on the android via Ice Cream Sandwich, has been used by devices such as the Kinect as well as security applications. Here is my rant in comic form.
